Choose the Correct Electrodes

All Cefar's skin electrode range are self adhesive, and should last between 20 and 40 treatments.

Prolong the Lifespan of your Electrodes
Store the electrodes on the ON side of the coated liner in a sealed bag.

When the electrodes begin to lose their stickiness, moisten the adhesive surface with a few drops of water and let it sink in before placing the electrodes on the coated liner for storage.

Store the electrodes at normal room temperature.

Replace the electrodes if they give a prickling sensation or if it is no longer sticky on the whole surface despite being moistened with water. The life span of the electrodes depends on how they are cared for, but they can usually be removed and re-used 20-40 times.

Electrode Placement
To receive maximum results from your stimulation, it is important to place the electrodes correctly. Electrodes from the same pair should be placed over the same muscle. The optimum placement varies slightly from person to person, so try moving the electrodes around until you get the most comfortable and effective contractions. Cefar offers different sizes of electrodes.
